Bishop Doral Reginald Pulley celebrates 25 years in ministry and has worked in almost every capacity of the Church. He has traveled across the country spreading the Word of God in an innovative manner that empowers people to change their environment. He is known for his ability to effectivey train church leaders and to stimulate holistic growth and development.
In 1992, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Morgan State University wit ha Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies and Theology. He recieved his Masters of Science degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College of Maryland in 1996 and his Certificate of Advanced Study in 2000.
His is certified as a mental health professional by the National Board of Professional Councelors and by the State of Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He has worked at Saint Frances Academy as an educator, counselor, and supervisor for several years and was recently promoted to Vice Principal. He has served as pastor of several local assemblies.
Endeavoring to bridge the gap between psychology and theology, he published his first book, The L.I.F.E. Model for Spiritual Direction: A Guide to Establishing Mental Health Ministries. Through this book and the L.I.F.E. Training Course, he has been able to successfully integrate his professional career and his ministry. His model is working in 27 churches with astounding results. His second book, Redefining Relationships for the 21st Century, was published in the summer of 2002 and is geared to assist all people with building and maintaining healthy relationships.
In addition to pastoring, preaching, teaching, counseling and writing, Bishop Pulley is the proud father of two beautiful twin daughters, Brittney and Courtney, and one son, Doral, II. His life scripture describes the mandate on his life. He is clear that his purpose is to bring the Body of Christ to wholeness, a place where nothing is missing, broken or out of place.
In October 2004, he was consecrated as the presiding prelate of The Church of the Everlasting Kingdom. He covers several entities in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. Through the Church of the Everlasting Kingdom, Inc. his covering for churches, ministries, and businesses and the Mind of Christ School of Ministry, he is "answering the call of destiny and setting the standard for leadership."
